Our sustainability philosophy at Kelly recognizes the interconnectedness between business, the environment, and society. We meet our sustainability goals and aim to add to our progress each year with the help of strong partnerships and collaborations with our employees, talent, suppliers, customers, and community.
Kelly proudly maintained our sustainability strategic focus in 2022, doing our part to help ensure a just and sustainable future for all. Here are a few highlights from the year, which are also outlined in this report:
Taking on environmental challenges with transparency: In 2022, we expanded our environmental approach, redefining our global footprint and thinking differently about opportunities in our industry to mitigate climate change impact.
Doing DEI differently: Kelly is committed to scaling our DEI journey beyond the reach of Kelly people to also impact the broader workforce where we advocate for equity, fair treatment, and opportunity for all. In 2022, we strengthened our Kelly Affinity Groups, integrated processes that support inclusion globally, and appointed our first-ever Chief Diversity Officer with a focus on our workforce, workplace, and marketplace.
Formalizing ESG governance: Our new ESG Advisory Committee provides the oversight critical for ensuring ESG considerations are integrated into all Kelly decision-making processes. We’re excited about formalizing this additional layer of accountability in 2022.
Kelly is committed to doing more each year to drive meaningful change for people and our planet. We hold ourselves accountable by aligning our initiatives with the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact. We take pride in being signatories and supporters of this worldwide initiative.
I am grateful to our many partners in this important work, and I thank you for reviewing the pages of this report to learn more about our sustainability initiatives.
